Covid Can't Stop Santa

First Layout for Scrap Our Stash Design Team

This month's first challenge at Scrap Our Stash is a remix challenge using mixed alphas.  I used mostly Simple Stories Jingle All The Way.   The woodgrain paper is Photoplay.  I applied some Picket Fence distress ink around the outer edge of the circle to help the title stand out a bit more.  Thanks for looking and be sure to enter Scrap Our Stash's monthly challenges over at their blog.

Happy Days for Stick It Down

January 2021 Sketch for Stick It Down

Stickitdown.blogspot.com

I'm super excited to join the Stick It Down design team for 2021.

Here is my take on the January sketch:

I added some Speckled Egg distress oxide using the kissing technique to the background.  Then I mixed Fossilized Amber distress oxide with Vicki Boutin molding paste.  I used as stencil brush to apply the mixture through a stencil.  I finished off the layout with Cocoa Vanilla Daydream papers and die cuts.

Thanks for looking and be sure to play along with all the monthly sketches at Stick It Down!

 Fun with Cutfiles

Paige Evans has a huge kit for sale awhile back full of Bloom Street goodies.  It was enough to make 3-4 mini books plus lots of layouts.  I used a cutfile from Paige Evans and backed it with Bloom Street goodness.
